Most likely the mono will also be from 24/44.1; apparently the reason they didn't do a new vinyl remaster from the 192 or 96 is that the 2 remaining Beatles and the 2 widows have to approve any new remaster, and it is basically impossible to get their unanimous agreement. It apparently was VERY difficult for the 2009 releases.
That said, if they basically just used the digital transcription of the original master tapes, I'm not sure why that would even be considered a "new" master. But don't hold your breath for hi-res mono.
