Thanx James,

In the same kind of language as my earlier quidline:

The subpanels created by a brace should not be congruent.

If practical subpanels should not be rectangles (i regularily break this guideline, as it can make a brace much harder to build, and as shown in the Tappen study yaking it to extremes is counter-productive).

This epic build gives a detailed account of a unique method of fabricating a constrained damping layer. This is one of the best documented and most amazing speaker builds I've run across :o. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-way/218437-3-way-active-time-aligned-constrained-layer-construction.html
