Tubelab Simple SE Tube amp parts/diy
« on: 16 Jul 2012, 02:27 am »
Reluctantly I must part ways with my SimpleSE. All parts except for the choke. All that's needed is an enclosure (not provided) and basic wiring skills. For those not familiar with this great sounding amp, see Pez's thread, my thread, and the Tubelab website. Takes EL34s, KT88s, and more.

Allied 6K7VG
Transcendar 10w 5K SE Transformers (90ma)
Obbligato 30uf (oil) capacitor

Populated PCB with:
Mills, PRP, Takman resistors (as well as recommended stock)
Belton Tube sockets
SS rectifiers (bypass ready)
JJ PS capacitors
Vishay organic polymer caps
Ampohm .1uf Aluminum PIO (NLA)

R1 is unpopulated in case a choke is preferred
There is a pulled pad for one of the bypass caps, but it's been
easily bypassed (see pic)

everything priced to sell for $370 shipped paypal. U.S.

Will throw in EH KT88 power and Golden Lion driver tubes.
Just need an enclosure, basic wiring and you're ready to go.

free kitty pic (I've never seen him on the work table, had to take a photo)
