    Some young children were banging on a friends keyboard, and now all the images are super sized! 

How can they restore a normal image?

Only images such as pictures (iPhoto)?

A Browser (Safari) related issue?

Or everything on the entire viewing screen regardless of what you are looking at?

If everything on the screen, then;
1. One click on the Apple in upper left corner.
2. One click on System Preferences.
3. One click on Displays.
4. Select the Resolution you prefer.

They may have just zoomed the screen.  If so, then all you have to do is put the cursor in the window that is zoomed and double tap your cursor pad with two fingers.  Good luck.
