Running speaker and subwoofer cables
« on: 12 Nov 2011, 04:50 pm »
I just moved into a new condo on the Jersey shore.  The beach is 50 meters from my front door.
I need to set up my HT and run cables under the carpet.  Does anybody know the easiest way to do this?

To the beach?
Sorry.

- You can remove the baseboards, and stick the wires in the cavity between the carpet and the wall, then reattach the baseboards.
- You can poke small holes in the jute backing of the carpet and use s "fish" to pull the wires through, but you'll see and feel the wires under the carpet.
- They make "flat" wires that can be taped to the baseboards, then painted to match the trim.
- You can also do wireless, but I can't speak of the SQ.
