Room Description

Dedicated listening room constructed during basement refinishing project 4/01. Heavy wall to wall berber carpet w/ 1/2" thick foam over concrete flooring. Standard stick construction w/ 3/8" drywall and 2"x4" stud framing. Drop ceiling.

Acoustic Treatment

Extensive Pi Audio Group diffuser panels on rear wall & 1st reflection points. Additional Passive room treats treatments in room & ceiling corners from Eighth Nerve.

Digital Source

ModWright modified Cambridge Audio CXN V2 (DAC/streamer) w/ matched pinch waisted 6922 tubes & Audiolab 6000CDT transport.

Analog Source

Nottingham Interspace w/modified Rega RB300 arm, Audio Technica AT-OC9XML MC cartridge, ModWright Instruments PH9.0 XT phono preamp w/ Lundahl transformers and tube rectified power supply.

Preamp

25th Anniversary Decware CSP3+ preamp w/ Jupiter Beeswax caps and stepped attenuator. Space-Tech Labs STR-1002 (Super Tube Rectifier) w/ various 805A and 845 tubes.

Power Amp

Decware Zen Mystery (ZMA) Amplifier with 25th Anniversary + other modifications. Placed on a cherry Decware Zen Audio Focus Platform (ZAFP).

Speakers

Caintuck Audio "The Lii 15 Magnum Open Baffle" speakers in Curly Cherry hardwood with 15" Lii Audio F-15 drivers.
