What's grilling?

It's Friday, work is slow and I am salivating over a little piece of fillet that is waiting for me at home!  I found this treasure, Virginia grown Kobe beef, at the new Wegmans in Fairfax last week and had to go back for more.  It comes sealed in plastic -- so I open and dry it for a couple of days before grilling it.  High heat, sear both side, then low convection heat till medium rare.....  OOOmmmmmmm!  With a bottle of '01 Artemis from SLWC, it will be a good start to a Masters weekend.

What are you grilling tonight?

Saturday will be Black Angus striploins, but tonight will be a little spicy chicken breast festival!

Thankfully it is warming up, even up here in Canada!

You guys are making my mouth water. My daughter insists we go to this cheap pizza place tonight for the arcade.  Nothing like tough pizza to go with video games.

Last night (in 25 mph wind) flattened chicken marinated with rice vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper. I only par-cooked them because tonight they become buffalo strips! Glad I did it last night becase we just got dumped on with snow again!!! I would have put money we saw the last of it. We need it though so I'm happy about it really.

Just grilled some bratwurst that were pre-cooked in beer, butter, onions, and pepper. A heart-attack on a bun, for sure. Tasty, though.

Last night I grilled a couple dozen shrimp, some early ears of corn and  garlic bread, all served with a tomato salad. YUM  :thumb:
