You need a second sub.😉

Yep. Set the speakers on top of the subs.

Very nice.

Like the attention to seamless grain alignment between the front and top panels.

Truly impressive work. I did the same kind of project with a different design and I'm impressed by your veneer work!
A somewhat off-topic question: does anyone else have any concerns about the effects of the immense pounding from a powerful sub on an interior plate amp or crossover? I mean, we accept that we need substantial bracing to deal with cabinet wall flex, but doesn't that same incessant beating do anything to caps and other components over the long term? Just asking, because I've done exactly the same thing...

Yeah. It's one of those, "what choices do you have?" issues. The main alternative is to place the plate amp in an external box, but that can create bigger issues, especially when space is limited and the wife has to look at it. Sonically, will you hear a difference? Hardly.

Transparency statement: All of my sub amps are external.

Thanks for the compliments. Next up is a matching, vintage looking media console. I haven’t decided on a design yet, but I have a general idea of what I want.
