SP 1.7 problem
« on: 21 Sep 2007, 08:27 pm »
HI James/All

Ive got a prob with my processer :( (made 2003)

Just moved up too 7.1 from 5.1, im getting no sound from my new Back Rears.

Have been through the setup procedure, got the BK set to 2 ond not None,i have saved settings, when i run the test tones there is no test tone for the back rears!

Ive also noticed that sometimes when i set the levels for my speakers, and save the settings, it some times reverts back to old settings and i have to re-run the test.

any help would be greatful, checked manual,am i missing something?

Regards Carlos

Just been playing more,

Checked all connections, all fine.got EX/ES set to 'ON'.Back Set to 'two'

1. i press the back button on remote and adjust the back level by .5db .
2.then run test tone again ,the test tone for the back speakers start to work!!  :)
3.then finish the test tones. dvd sound comes back on,no back speaker effect!! .
4. Run test tones again, NO Test Tone For back Again!

then i do the same again from no1. Test tone for backs re-appear!!!

very strange!!! :?

Ok -what software do you have?
When it first starts it will say.

Also I assume when you say SAVE you are using the save button on the remote?
