I’m stuck.  I have a 17x17 room with 11’ ceilings.  I sit about 14 back from the speakers / TV.  I’m trying to find a good pair of front speakers that I can place right next to the wall (they’d sit on a shelf).  I’m happy to make any tweaks / modifications to he speakers.  I don’t use them to listen to music, only movies.  I have two subs (speedwoofers).  Budget <$800 ideally.

What speakers should I consider / recommend?
