LS-6 Amp Power Requirements

As I recall from an earlier post, the LS-6 line arrays are pretty efficient speakers.  That said could Danny or others familiar with finished speakers provide a recommendation on tube power amplification.

I would prefer what you think would be an optimal configuration in a relatively small listening room: 13.5' wide x 15.5' long x 7.5' high.  The room is heavily treated with room treatments, although I may need to add some corner bass traps behind the LS-6's.  I tend to listen at moderate dB levels - 75 to 85 dB.

Thanks for any information you can provide  :D

Danny answered that question and explained how the sensitivity rating differs from a point source speaker.

In your sized room, at the low levels you listen to, you could practically run even a single digit powered tube amp.

Would a Blue Circle BC 24 @ 80watts be suitable to power these babies in a relatively large 24' x 16' room?

80 watts of power is plenty. I drove mine well with Dodd Audio 50 watt mono-blocks for a while.
