sveetsnelda, that's a very nice model.  You don't happen to have a version with layers broken up, do you?

For those of you who downloaded the model when I originally posted it, please delete it and download the new one.  I accidently made the speaker 3/4" too tall.  The new model has No-rez added and the dimensions have been triple checked.  New pictures added to original post.

What do you mean by "layers broken up"?  Do you mean with the panels removed?  Every piece of wood and piece of foam in the model is a separate component.  You should be able to select it and move it around without doing anything to the model.  If you need help, let me know.

Layer's are simply a way of making it very easy to hide and show various groups, without having to move them, etc.  So a single click, for example, gets rid of the front baffle, and then brings it back, without having to worry that I (probably) would slightly messup the dimensions while moving things around ;)  PM if my explanation made no sense, I can show you what I mean!

Love the model, should be a real help to future DIYers! If you get bored, do the OB-7 Plus!  :thumb:

Nice  :)  I didn't know that was possible (still learning SketchUp).  Layers have been added to the model.  :D

A friendly bump and I added the picture so it would show in the thread.

Danny,

I like to use the N3 kit as a 2 way stereo, in a sealed enclosure, I have 3 questions:

a. Would there be any change to the x-over(I suspect not)?
b. There is no problem with Neo3 crossing over at 1.8 kHz?
c. What is the lower F3 in a sealed enclosure(I calculated to be 90Hz, it that about right)?

a response please.

That version is called the N3S.

There would not be any change to the crossover.

No issues at all.

By the numbers, yes. In room response though will likely be -3db in the mid 70's to upper 60's depending on your room.
