I’m a bleeding green Iggles fan but for some reason I have very little interest in football this year. It’s been all about the Phillies the last few years. I like a lot of the changes MLB has made but not too happy with the NFL. Just not that into it this year. Dunno cant figure it out.  :dunno:
Might just be too early to care. It's September and still hot. I imagine we'll all be more interested in late November and December when it matters. :D

Well, he had the score way off...
I had the Bills last night as well and didn't realize it was such an underdog pick.  Tua played like a quarterback who didn't have any reps in preseason.  But there's a bigger story.

Tua suffered his third or fourth concussion last night and there's discussion on sports talk TV this morning about whether this should end his playing career.  I doubt it will, too much guaranteed injury money for the Dolphins to bench him.  And I doubt Tua will voluntarily give up the position.  Should the NFL step in here?

Truth be told he was only 3 points off on the Bills score  :thumb: Perhaps being an ex Bill he had the inside scoop ?

Bills have until 9/23 to get their defense somewhat healthier...a welcome asset for any team in a similar situation.  Unless some bad, unpredicted events pop up, they are again the team to beat in the east.  For those who thought otherwise - we slightly understand.

But to win the Super Bowl they have to overcome the 'McDermott Factor' .............

Can't say I disagree.  His time management and late-game decisions at times are heart stabbing.  He's been the best though since Levy and smart to say his influence on the flip side has helped this team be exciting and fans rather hopeful.  Players like and respect him.

I loved Marv, yet he had the 'choke collar' around his neck for 4 straight Super Bowls.

I was born and raised in Bflo, I go back with the Bills to day 1, Buster Ramsey(head coach) and Tommy O'Connell (QB), I remember getting Jack Kemp off the waiver wire in '62 for a hundred bucks. As an 11 year old kid I was at the 'Rock Pile' in '64 when the Bills won their first AFL Championship and Mike Stratton leveled the greatest hit in history on Keith Lincoln. So yeah, I'd love to see a SB there before the 'clock runs out for me' !

Seems weird seeing the Ravens, Broncos, and Rams at 0-2. At least two of those were seen as possible Super Bowl contenders.

Tough loss for the Eagles at home in the last minute!!
Curt marched em down the length of the forks in no times FAST!!
Eagles lost 22-21 and passed up an easy chip shot field goal
In the opening quarter . Instead a failed fourth down conversion.
Me , I kick that field goal and win that game .
Shit , the Giants scored three Td’s and the other team won with all Fiekd goals 24-21
This loss stings

Terrible lose for the Birds.  A complete defensive breakdown just like the end of last year.  Personally I'd fire the D coordinator this morning..

yep, tough nite last nite for Philly, Both Phillies and Eagles loose. It was laughable to watch the Eagle fans before the game getting all cocky, even ESPN's Sal Palintonio was on our local news saying the only way the Eagles could loose is if they more or less handed it to the Falcons............. and they did ! LOL !!

Funny, same thing with the 49ers. They went for a TD at 4th and goal at the 3 (in the 2nd Q?). Then the Vikings got the 97 yd Jefferson TD and eventually won 23-17.

Aliens abducted Justin Fields of the Steelers and replaced him with a clone who understands defenses and throws with laser accuracy.  He used stalwart George Pickens as well as the underused Calvin Austin III in the wide receiver game to open up TE Pat Friermouth across the middle.  Russell Wilson looked disgusted on the sideline.  Unsubstantiated rumors of a trade with Carolina or Miami abounded (Wilson has a no trade clause in his contract).

Eagles looked like shit today . Who are they anyway .
The Bills are getting smacked down by the Ravens .
The Steelers almost had a great comeback win , but no , but Fields is getting way better each week .
Now that Alabama vs. Georgia game was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! I just watched the 20 minutes highlights
