My 12 years old BDP-1 started behaving strange about 1 month ago. I had to reboot it several times before Roon could see it. This behaveiour got worse and worse and now I can't even get a response from its IP adress ( (it's fixed DHCP) I ruled out the network cable and switch to which it is connected.
The display reads :
Bryston BDP-1
N
I can not use the arrows-keys and the only button that seems to work is power on/off.
I checked the internal lithium battery which is at 3,07 Volts, so that´s ok. Also the 12V an 5V power suplly voltages are ok and stable
What does the N in the display mean?
is the CF card bad? where do I get an image to flash a new CF card?
In my opinion the network input on the motherboard is not behaving properly or faulty.
But if you have any ideas, I sure would like to hear about them.
