Glad to see your buddy's on his way to a full recovery.  My old boss's Dachschund had lumbar disc surgery and subsequently needed rehab which consisted of a lot of underwater treadmill running.  I had my cat at the same office while he was there once.  As an athletic trainer (sports med, not personal trainer), it was interesting to watch a dog do rehab vs people.

Again, glad to see Hector's on his way back to being Hector.

Thanks Stu  :D

I was not sure about how beneficial Hector's hydro was going to be, but when you can actually see the increase of his muscle mass it is money well spent. Perhaps Laundrew should purchase a few sessions of hydro at the vets

Be well...

Hector deeply wishes that he can also participate in the listening room renovation - no stairs until the end of February  :nono:

Just like music, a photograph can bring back many fond memories of simpler times. I was very happy to find this photo while surfing the net. A lifetime ago, our family lived on the third floor of this beautiful structure on Jarvis Street and my favourite place was the turret on the third floor.

I can really relate to this photograph.

Always enjoyed the contrast of green against gravestones.

The automotive bane of my existence was finally exorcised today as the PT Cruiser made its last trip of the Laundrew household and without ceremony, had the plates removed - the tenacious umbilical cord finally severed.  I can only imagine the next individual that it will haunt and persecute to untold grief and financial duress. It is really a sad state of affairs as Chrysler does make aesthetically pleasing vehicles, it is just at the end of the day, you get fed-up sinking good money into something that is a maintenance nightmare.

What a tangled mess of contradictions, which defines the human psyche. Laundrew will miss the PT in some cases.

Laundrew bids the PT a fond and fair "adieu."

Laundrew, I too had a PT Cruiser.  It was swept away by super storm Sandy.  Mine was black but this pic shows how I kept the PT.  God I miss the PT.

How was yours for maintenance?

Ours had head gasket, bushings, brake, front end and sensor issues with a host of other problems - even items were falling off from the inside of the car. What I did like about the PT was that the rear seats could come out of the car and the front passenger seat folded forward - a great utility vehicle but it was just a very expensive for maintenance - I remember one time we had to spend over $3,000.00 in repairs over a 2 month span. The spray nozzles on the hood even broke twice and had to be replaced at $25.00 each  :duh:
