Maybe this cord discussion would be better off on a thread about the WTA upgraded power supply? Would make it easier for others with similar questions to find the recs y'all are making...

Nah, I'm done.    Try what you currently have, or something different-- different systems, et al..    Easy peasy..

Roscoe, yes, I think that a separate topic for power cables and the DPS would be cool.
ThreadK, well, diff'rent strokes, I suppose.
I believe that PS Audio's Perfect Wave Cables and their, unfortunately deleted, Juicebar II mains blocks are amazing foundations for a system. Then again, I firmly believe in investing in mains quality.

Look at article date... Just remember, those were the first tables out. Doubtful any of yours are even like that...

As for the wallwart and naim, and only naim hum, there is another type of wallwart WTL can furnish...

Wow everyone has to get the DPS power supply. The electromagnetic field is gone with the DPS plug in. It sound even better than the GND wire mod.

Silly Italians...

It really is a marked difference. I had a friend try one on his gta, and he thought it sterile and hifi!  So I was like, no way, everyone has embraced it.  Well, come to find out, he had set it on his preamp, and I told him to move it, and when he did, he called back with joy in his voice... Said it was night and day...
So lesson for today.. Watch what you set it on or near.
Word!

Oh no. "Night and day" and such phrases aren't helping me resist. Sprung on a Dyna cart so it'll be a while before I try the PSU out. And the cart will likely be a bit more of a bang for the buck improvement. mat and PSu are certainly on deck...

You did well... Which cartridge?
No psu... Dps... Dedicated power supply.
Yes, save... But don't suffer for it... Xmas is coming..
The dps will wait... And the mat... Or maybe Santa is listening?

Got an XX2 mk II that was sent to SoundSmith for a retip (if it is repairable).

Yes I hope that Santa follows these forums...

No $$ for what Dyna USA would cost. Curious why you seem down on SoundSmith?

Sorry to everyone else on the thread for going OT. Hope this is interesting to you all too as vinyl heads...

Oh, not down, just won't be the same cartridge after he gets ahold of it.
I'm one of those pesty purists...

Gotcha. But it will still almost certainly be better than anything else I have got. And very likely better than the 20X2L, and it will work in P75's PE mode.

True.
You can run the 20L in pe mode also...new version is great.

Oh yeah and that was my original plan until coming across this XX-2 MkII, but including the rebuild the SS XX-2 Mk II is still cheaper than a new 20X2L.

That's good, for the money, I guess.
But I have to be a Debbie Downer again and say, that you're not getting Dynavector sound.  A cartridge to use, yes. But who knows otherwise?
