A lot. I can push about 106 db in a 24x22 room with just one.

50 lbs. !!

Why do you recommend this one in particular?

Of all the active subs I have heard, I have only ever really liked the REL subs and now this one. And that includes REAL EXPENSIVE ones as well. Most just don't integrate with music well. This one is fast, deep and affordable. Just wanted to make sure it didn't get left out since this one doesn't get talked about much, but is a great piece.

Have you compared the VS sub with the REL Strata III in particular? I have a Strata III and like it, but like the smaller size of the VS. (I also like VS speakers, at least the pair of VR1s that I use in my 2-channel HT.)
