Over the last few months we have been working on a new transmission line models.Our new TL7 series speaker kits are designed with a single fold D'Appolito configuration (MTM), but with an internal tapered transmission line alignment venting through the open rear of the box.This model uses a pair of modified SDX7 woofer matched with our ribbon also offered with the OW4 dome tweeter for those who would like the dome tweeter. We have done some modifications to the carbon fiber cone on the SDX7 woofer which change the driver greatly for what we want.These modifications to the cone of the SDX7 woofer, change the complete characteristics of the sound from the SDX7 for a positive result to say the least.
Mirror image left and right speaker this is also done by moving the woofers as close as possible to load the cabinet as equal as possible.
Expectations from the TL7 low bass extremely accurately with a tight positive feel never lacking lower bass,there is NO boomy bass from this design.

With the TL7 series using a off set tweeter, mirror image right and left speaker there is a difference in the off axis response differrence .This is due to the tweeter is closer to one edge of the baffle which is shown in the measurments below marked left and right.

Spectral decay very clean
Impedance has a low point at the crossover point.Not a issue for amplifiers running 4 ohm load
