I have a bit of overstock on these units finally, and I don't like inventory, so here is what's available:

Carver PRO ZR1600 NEW IN BOX - Unmodded, unopened. - $800
(I can mod this unit for an additional $300 if interested)

Carver PRO ZR1000 Modded, mint, 200 hours. x2 - $1000 each.
(these two units have been burning in since modification in the same spot.  absolutely mint.)

I will sell both the ZR1000s and will ship them in Monoblock configuration for a total of $1699.  That is 875 Watts into 8 ohms, and 1000 Watts into 4 ohms.  These units are both Eighth Nerve modified.  They can ship immediately.

New deal on the ZR1000s.  I will sell the pair, modded, set in mono mode (can be switched to stereo mode with a simple cable swap, anyone can do it) with 2 custom Eighth Nerve Spinal Cords - Amp version that are about 4 feet long with the ground lifted.  I made these specifically for these amps.  The power cords are $179 retail a piece.  The total retail on this system is $3056.  Yours for $1599!  Ready to ship.

That's a very good deal, Nathan. :o

Does the spinal cords with the lifted ground make a big difference.

Yes it does, especially with the Carver amps.  One of the things that is usually a problem with any budget amp is the accuracy of the torroidal winding.  This generally causes a ground loop somewhere, so lifting the ground onthis amp makes it MUCH quieter.  I wouldn't use the amp without one.

I sold one of the 1000s so there is one available in stereo for $850 including the power cord.  This is a new 8th Nerve modded ZR1000 with Eighth Nerve Spinal Cord Amp version.  Retail is over $1500.
