Those are macho surrounds, ain't for no pussy's :!:
I am such a pussy, actually poor
Would love to have them since I know how good they would sound :P
So I guess the RM30's w/ new sub, an LRC and these babies are the bomb for the almost ultimate HT.  Where as 5 RM/X's would be the uber HT speaker system.
Looking good-Brian

Cametz, go to the Gallery section and open a gallery.  Upload your pics from your computer to your audiocircle gallery, then post the pics per Josh's directions.

I still want to know more about this item.  What is the driver complement (number, size, composition, etc.)?   What's the frequency response?   Are the ribbons angled as a 45 degree angle to the woofer "box"?   Why is it usually shown laying in its "side"?

Hi Robert,

Sorry I missed your post here and can only answer part of it.

As far as the speaker compliment for the DIPOLE, it is (in its basic form) 2 spiral ribbons, 2 neopanels, and a single 6.5 inch WCF (megawoofer).

The one I ordered for my client had the FST upgrade as shown.

Although I doubt if it has been measured, I would place the frequency response as roughly similar to a 626R since it shares the same drivers.

I think it is shown laying on its side because the the owner wanted to show its size in comparison to the LRC.

This is a good sized speaker and not small like most other Dipoles.

I am not sure of the angular divergence and maybe Brian could answer that.
