Using USB, when I output hi-res files (anything above redbook CD resolution), I get lots of noise -- static-like sounds or white noise hiss. My DAC is a Schiit Bifrost 2/64. I can play these files from a Win 11 laptop through the Bifrost just fine. I only get this noise when I use the BDP-pi with USB. A few years ago I ran into this issue when I tried playing hi-res files through an Emotiva DAC with USB. At the time I blew it off as an Emotiva problem. It's not. Everything works fine with 75-ohm coax.
Is there a setting somewhere in the menus that I need to adjust to optimize the USB output?
