Wanted to create a positive thread for everyone to share which smaller companies are making great audio components and giving great service. Nothing negative here! Maybe this would be a good place to give a shameless plug to a manufacturer or store where you received a great product and service.

I have done business at Don Better Audio in Shaker Heights, OH who now carries the newer brand of Line Magnetic Audio. Great stuff and great service. He also helped me with my speaker choice, Vandersteen.

Hardly small and under the radar.  Not boutiquey either.

+1 on the Musical Paradise.  I'm using the MP 301 MK2.  It's a pure class A PP SET amp with very sweet highs, bass, and mids.  At 6.5 watts it drive my 91 db sen speakers just fine with room to spare. :D

Tube Research Labs is def small (one man) and a very boutiquey low volume mfg. No fancy website , pro reviews or salesmanship with this company. You either read a user review or know someone who has the gear.

There are so many great, small manufacturers that don't get the attention they deserve that I can't mention just one or two.  So I'll name a few:

Mapletree Audio Designs

SAS Audio Labs

Audio Mirror

Vista Audio
