The TRL Dude is in the house!

That is a dream room for sure. Wow!

Those are really great looking amps too. Part of the connection to these is seeing the lit filaments, right? I've often wondered why tube pre's aren't made the same way, especially a premium product like the Dude, a little window or means to see the tube, perhaps even exposed. With amps you don't have a choice, but I would think even on a pre you'd want the visual cue.

I'm glad I can't see them! I like a dark room with as least amount of LED's or lights.

I will try to answer all the questions. THE 6SN7 tubes are Tungsol. The Dude is dead quiet. It is actually quieter than my former pre-amp the BAT VK150SE. Yes I do like the glow of tubes. I have the top off the Dude so I do get some view of the tubes,

even if it is slight. The output tubes are KT120 Tungsols also. Here are some better pictures of the tubes.

Jason, Now that your unit is fully broken in, how would you describe the sound qualities now? Further would I presume your running a Zesto phono into the Dude, how is that combination? I think you had a Zesto Leto for sale, how was that compaired to the Dude?
