Pictures of a new N3 design!
« on: 19 Oct 2011, 06:27 am »

This is the trio I brought to RMAF. People really seemed to like the leatherette! :D

When Mark Seaton inquired on the price of the red and white N3's and I answered "$1500.00 for the pair ready-to-play" he was like "HOW MUCH??? :o Man, you should double your pricing...". :green:

The new guy is finished in a Charcoal Gray leatherette.

Best,

Ruben

I thought the fit and finish of the red/white N3 was among the best of anything I saw - amazing, really.

I agree, your craftsmanship is superb.  Nice to meet you at RMAF, Ruben.

I bet a black and tan would look pretty good too.

They are gorgeous, I like the white, then I see the black and like that, then i'm back to liking the white best. Great job.

Hi Ruben,

Very nice to finally meet you.  The speakers and sub you had on hand looked very sleek and stylish.

I see now that I thought Danny's kit price was per speaker, not per pair.  That would have left you charging only $700 for the pair of cabinets, which would be nuts!  I'd still say you will loose no work by upping your *cabinet* price 1.25-1.5x.  Considering the N3 kits sell for almost $400, ~$1100 for the loaded pair of cabinets pictured is still a great deal given the care and skill obviously put into these.

Those thinking about grabbing these, buy them now!  :thumb:

Thanks guys! :D

My original plan for the Gray N3 was to finish the black sections in a Piano Gunmetal Gray, but I didn't have enough time to finish it. The black is actually just primer! :green:

RMAF is such a great time. If you've never been, and you can swing it, be sure to get there next year. It was really cool meeting so many AC members face to face. All of which were even better in person. :thumb:

Kevin - No worries! I could tell you needed to get out of there quick. Glad you didn't miss your shuttle.

MaxCast - I'm with you on black and tan. I really like that color combo. 8)

Best,

Ruben

Although this pic makes it look like more of a golden color, it's actually a nice color shifting tan called Pyrite Mica.
