Anyone in or around Singapore, hit me up if you'd like to audition NX-Studios with Double Troubles (build log:https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=188953.0) :)

Hi All.  I am contemplating buying/building kits for either NX-Treme or Otica, and would love to have the opportunity to audition without flying all the way to Texas!

The easiest locations for me include Washington State (I'm in western Washington) and down to Portland Oregon.  Over thanksgiving, I will also be in northern Virginia and the Boston area.

Thanks in advance, Peter

X-LS and X-Statik with Primaluna tube or Schitt solid state mono blocks driven by PS Audio Gaincell, both sets of speakers with upgraded crossovers (X-LS have Miflex bypass caps). In the scenic mountains of north east Alabama not far from the Little River Canyon, 70 miles from Huntsville, 90 miles from Birmingham, 45 miles from Chattanooga, TN. Three kinds of speaker cables to listen to, but, the GRs are best imo…

Hi all, I'm in Raleigh NC and would love to check out some NX-Otica or NX-Treme if anyone nearby has any.

I did see someone in Clayton post a few years about about having the NX-Treme but he doesn't seem to be very active. (I did send a PM.)

I've heard some Linkwitz LX-521s but that's the only real OB design I've been able to demo.

No NX-Tremes?  At least that's what the searchengine indicates.. I'm about 90% likely to buy a kit soon, but it sure would be nice to hear a pair within driving distance of Phoenix.

I discovered today that there is indeed a pair of NX-Tremes in the Phoenix area and they belong to a fellow member of the Arizona Audio Video Club; will be hearing them soon.

Just to update - I did get a pointer to someone in the Raleigh area with a set of NX-Oticas and subs, and had a great demo and fun listening! (Thanks again, Steve.) I don't have quite the space for the full Otica + subs required so I did end up going a different direction with a full range tower, PS Audio FR30s I found on USAM. Still working on getting them positioned and so on. It's not out of the question that I'll "circle" back to GRR or open baffles again, though!

Congrats on your speaker purchase. I haven't heard the FR30 yet (hoping to at Axpona this year), but from what I've heard and read, they sound like great speakers. Chris Brunhaver seems to really know his stuff.

Curious, is there any X-LS Encore owners in or near Torrance/Redondo Beach CA?
