Bill, don't tempt me!
Hey Bill,Call me when you have decided to leave for Manila with your Pre. Than, at the same time, I will leave from Amsterdam bringing a quad of Kronzilla DX to the same place. (hope Jack and Jimmy won't mind )
By the way, the first VR 44a outside the US is traveling to Holland.
Can the numerical display come in red?
The huge room was professionally designed and treated with bass absorption by ASC and midrange-treble treatment consisting mainly of diffusion rather than absorption to keep a sense of "life" in the critical midrange. Of course, being a bit smaller helps tame the room resonances.
Bill is only welcome if he brings along a 230V version of his top pre-amp Seriously Dr. Glenn says they are fantastic, Arthurs says so as well. According to Albert, it is a "complete product". That's three guys with impeccable taste. It must be good.
Hi AlbertVery nice room indeed and speakers as well. But, what I am interested, if there is some acoustical measurements of this room. Not only freq response but also all of the other parameters that is included in the acoustical measurements. Because I don't see any kind of diffusion in this room and the cylindrical form in the middle is not a diffusor but a reflector. Is the diffusion hidden behind the gray fabric walls? What do you mean by smaller room tames the resonances? Thanks
