Bryston Sales - past 12 months

Hi James,

I'm sure you have unit sales figures at your fingertips but I'm not sure how confidential / how able you are to share.  I think it would be interesting to get an idea of unit sales across the models - say past 12 months or 2010 totals or 2011 ytd sales of the following:

Amplifiers: 2B-SST2 up to 28B-SST2 (pairs)
Pre-amps: B16, BP6, BP26

I know the 4B-SST2 is your top selling amplifier but it would be interesting to know how the unit sales compare to the other products e.g. just how many pairs of 28B-SST2 amps were sold in 2010 or 2011 ytd.

Thanks. :D

I would not answer your question if i were part of a company.
It could lead to actually being canned. IMO.
Unless the info is widely distributed, some single employee is really not permitted to divulge stuff like that. Corporate espionage and all that...

James i know it is a little off context for the topic, but have you gotten any studios purchasing BDP's ? And if so, how/where are they implementing them.? i.e larger listening rooms etc. I thought it might not be a bad product for listening to freshly mastered tracks after they left the mastering room.

Cheers, Scott
