These were GREAT when they came out a few years ago and they STILL are! There are so many positive reviews and satisfied customers. I am actually a very satisfied customer. "Well then why are you selling?" Simply because my new room is gigantic (41' X 41" x 18') and although the CS2's sound excellent, I needed a speaker that could play super super loud and so I bought the GedLee Abbeys and 4 subs. Honestly, the CS2's do not give up too much and have a great, open sound that really draws you in. The Behringer DCX 2496 has the settings you need to dial it in to your room. My DCX has been professionally modified with the 3xSPDIF input/output board. This allows you to send a digital signal to the crossover unit and it does all of it's magic in the digital domain and sends out a digital signal. The standard configuration is also available as the original connections and functions are still in place. You have your choice!
I would be willing to sell my 2 Panasonic SA-XR 700 receivers that I use to bi-amp these for the right deal. It is not critical though that I sell them however, since I really enjoy the Pure Digital aspect of these unique units. I run digital out from my Squeezebox Touch into the DCX where it does all digital processing and then digital out into the receivers. The signal is all digital until the very end where the PCM signal is changed to PWM. Anyway - they are available if wanted. There is no way you could put together a complete system for tis price that comes anywhere near the sound.
