Interesting article.
The only thing I'll quibble with is that statement that the kick drum has a fundamental frequency of 30-50 hz and that the sub-harmonic, an octave lower, is listed as 25-30 hz.
For every octave, frequency doubles, so one of those measurements is wrong.
If the primary is 30-50hz, the octave lower would be 15-25 hz.

My experience with freeing up mains from lowest frequencies duties goes along the same lines, profoundly cleaner mids.vv

I have those same Dynaudio M3's, wish my 4B SST wasn't down. I didn't see anywhere what Bryston amp he is using to drive the M3's.
