Wow.  Clearly some people (who were likely under the influence of some damned good herb) decided it would be cool to take the whole Rock Em' Sock Em' Robot toy to the big screen.

I'll buy it for sure......they finally did a scifi film about Rockem Sockem Robots...remember them..LOL...I always wanted to play with some when I was a kid....LOL...with the special effects of today scifi is the best right now, have you guy seen the Green Lantern yet.....a buddy got a copy somehow and I saw it, drop dead gorgeous woman in the lead role along with Ryan Reynolds whose actually great in this new role.
 But I will most definitely checkout "Steel"

Seen several different trailers for this. Call me cynical but it just looks like a high concept cash grab Rocky meets Iron Giant. Spielberg guarantees heavy layer of schmaltz. Meh.
