Here is a chance to be of service to one of the biggest DIY audio events. By the people for the people. Mark, variac, on DIYaudio asked me to help Marshall volunteers this year. We are are having a prerun at my house in south san Francisco on Saturday the tenth next month, at noon. I'll be bbqing brisket and ribs. Potluck, bring something to pass if you want or just show up with your willingness and enthusiasm.

Holy transistors, Batman! Linkwitz, Nelson Pass, and John Curl...at the same show!

Guess I better plan on attending in October. I suppose it would be considered bad form to bring along my P-LD 2000 preamp and ask Mr. Curl why it distorts so badly when I use the polarity reverse...

Not that it matters, because I have no use for the function, anyway, and if it really bothered me I'd send it in to Parasound for a fix.
