Hello, folks! My storage space is finally being taken over by work related endeavors, so I'm as finally pressed to find these speakers a new home.
What I have for sale is a pair of ET's LFT-8B hybrid planar floor standing speakers with oak trim. I bought these second-hand a while back and performed the upgrade to the B-version tweeters myself with the new from ET tweeters provided to me. The speakers already had the A-version updated crossover components.
I'm including a link to a photo of the speakers, but I'll be honest in saying that these are not beauty queens by any stretch of the imagination. With a little TLC they could look great again, but as they are now, both the wood trim and the grills/grill attachment could use some attention. They function perfectly and sound great, so all that said, I'm pricing them to both clean out my storage space and as a way for someone to test drive a planar type speaker for not a lot of money - pretty much how they found their way to me. They are currently packed in the original shipping boxes waiting to be sent out. For anyone considering a local pickup arrangement, they are located in the USA at zip code 53916 (SE-ish Wisconsin).
I also have a spare woofer (purchased when chasing down a binding post/wiring issue), and I also have the original A-version tweeters. I would be willing to pass either of these along to someone in need VERY reasonably.
For the speakers, I would like $700 shipped, insured CONUS via UPS (sorry, but I don't have access to FedEx in town anymore), and I would be glad to discuss a discount for local pickup. I can have them placed at a local retailer for flexibility in pickup, but unfortunately I am without vehicle to either deliver or meet part way.
