It was 2008 in montreal SSI show. This room was not that busy and I think this is fits perfect in what James try to say, listen then talk.
The Herald speakers are designed in Canada by Dr. Jack Hans and assembled in China under canadian supervision. The speaker was half active only the woofer and the upper was driven by a 150W and the woofer by a 400W. The woofer was extra long throw 10" and the cone  was made out of fiberglass the mid from kevlar and fabric dome tweeter. Now this one was very interesting and I have never seen it before. The pre amp was something they called Dual-preamp matching. It had 4 mono preamp in one box but 2 with tube for highs and 2 solid state for woofer. It was a very nice set up and all you need was the cd player and the price was $15,000 for the whole thing. But people did not want to listen to it.Maybe because it was build in China or who knows.
