Try swapping the + and - speaker wire leads to one speaker. Although your description of the problem doesn't exactly sound like a speaker out of phase, the speaker wire swap is easy to do. The center image should 'snap into focus' if it was out of phase. Believe it or not, AV123 wired my left LS9 out of phase! :duh:

Skiman, thanks for the suggestion, I do not think the speakers are out of phase. The Norah Jones recording is just one example. A lot of my other CDs are OK, and I use phantom center for HT, and if you are in between the speakers, it sounds pretty awesome.

Danny, I sent you a PM with the same question, but, how far apart should they be? I think they are like 8 or 9 feet apart, but there is 18 feet on the long wall.
