I’m curious about the Distortion Specs for Bryston Speakers, such as the Tiny T10 or A2.

Example, my pair of Bookshelves state they are:  Harmonic distortion 2nd and 3rd harmonics (90dB, 1m)
<1% 110Hz - 22kHz

What distortion specs are considered very good?

I’m looking to upgrade to very low distortion speakers, which is why I’m considering high efficiency horns, but I’d like to consider Bryston speakers too.

I've been listening to Yamaha NS-1000M speakers for years and I'm curious to try something new.

My current setup:

Schiit Yggdrasil Singular DAC -> Schiit Loki Max -> Schiit Freya+ -> Bryston 3B3 -> Yamaha NS-1000M

My family room is a typical midsize family room, about 12x14.

I typically max out around 90dB volume at 10 feet away from the speakers.

The T10 lineup of speakers seems physically huge.

I'm curious to know what I'd be giving up choosing the T10 mini vs the full sized T10.  I'm also considering the Middle T.

How does a middle T compare to a T10 mini in sound presentation in such a sized room?

If you have heard both Bryston speakers and the legendary NS-1000, how should I expect it to be different?

Good day,

I noticed recently that Axiom Audio's website appears to be stripping down. You can no longer buy service parts (crossovers, woofers, tweeters, etc.) and a lot of their products just appear to be gone, along with B-stock and trade in gear. Their forum link also appears to be broken on the website.

I also noticed that KLH on their website lists the Kendall 2 series of speakers (made by Axiom/Bryston) are under their discontinued page, despite only coming out like 2 years ago. I also remember Bryston stating they were going to continue selling their old A series of speakers as a legacy more entry level series but everywhere that usually stocks them say they are sold out..

Does anyone have any insight as to what's going on? I've also seen posts online where people are trying to contact axiom and not receiving emails back or phone calls...

My questions would be is the parent company phasing out axiom as a brand and in the mix axing both the legacy series and the KLH speakers since they are based on the axiom's offerings? Be nice to have some clarification since I see no info about this online.

Hi Chewbacca

Axiom is expanding from a factory-direct-only model to include both direct sales and authorized dealers. Customers may now buy directly from Axiom or through authorized dealers and distributors across North America and around the world. As part of this change, we are no longer offering “Refurb” or “B-Stock” products.

We are in the process of a major update to our website and appreciate your patience. Service parts and the forum will be available again soon.

Axiom previously manufactured the KLH Kendall 2B Bookshelf and 2F Tower models. KLH was sold about a year ago, and its new owner has chosen to source all products from China. We still have a limited number of 2B and 2F pairs available for interested customers.
Bryston continues to offer the original Model T and A Series A2 by special order.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Our customer response system is designed to contact customers within two days. Could you let us know whether this happened recently so we can investigate further?

Thanks for the insight James!

All of that makes a lot of sense. I'm not an axiom customer myself but am part of the axiom audio Facebook group and saw several people making comments there about having trouble reaching a person at the company whether it was via email or phone. Since the forums are down for the moment it might be worth joining that group to make a public statement or perhaps send out a newsletter informing customers that changes are happening. Looks like some of the comments I saw of people having trouble getting ahold of axiom was about 3-4 weeks ago.

As for the KLH situation I'm not surprised. I see that some of the models are still in stock at some Canadian retailers so that makes a lot of sense.

My only other question is are there going to be new models in the axiom lineup or even a more entry-level speaker line for bryston. I know your new T series is pretty robust but it would be nice to see something new in a cheaper price segment :)
