All good suggestions and I am working on them. Precision Phase splitters: I designed the circuit so that there is no wrong place to put them. Just make sure the pointers in the same position for both channels. I think I put them both all the way over to the left (as you're facing the amp)More to follow as an online manual is configured.
Just some general observations, Blair:1. I think an online manual is needed esp. for non-standard features like the precision phase splitter.( I have no idea whether my knobs are in the position you tuned it, after 3000 miles !)2. For insurance purposes a serial no. plate would be useful.3. ID decals for switches etc. on the backplate I am putting this in the forum just in case others have recommendations to make the all-round product more superb.
Blair,I found it useful to put a knob with a marker on the bias shaft..makes it easy to see where you are in the bias range and also much easier to turn esp if in a tight spot on a rack. Also any info you can post for the time being on the feedback adjuster ?
Question: were the power tubes provided matched? And the other two tubes?
Blair, what's the size / values / etc of the fuse in the NS-40? I'm considering ordering an after-market fuse, so this information will be helpful. Thank you.
