I'm down of course  8) Let me know if you need a hand with things Rick. Labor Day weekend would be the only tricky time for me.

I ruled out Labor Day weekend since I know everyone in your area goes to the lake that weekend.  :)

I just registered so I can participate in that listening session. Is this an event I have to register for, or just show up?

All you need to do is show up and bring some music if you like.

Hi Guys
This is Morakot I'm hosting the events.
You can email me so I have some idea of how many people are comming. I like to know how much food to make... but this not necessary.

You can bring speakers, amp or what ever so wanna show. It's just a friendly get together event.

Tim Rawson the diy amp guru will bring his new amp and I do have couple of his amps to show...

That is a blurry image of Rick's new creations (RAAL Illuminator mid, & the special woofers from the MA-1). They were very nice. I was most taken with the implementation of the illuminator mid. Accurate, open, and airy, a true window into the music. Taut bass, good extension, no hint of boxiness whatsoever. They can also be driven hard without distortion. I preferred them to a pair of Accuton MTM speakers that were played later. The accuton rig was good however. My Veritas were pushed harder than I had heard them before (apartment life), and did a good job too. The 7" Illuminator can really be pushed quite hard without distortion. Thanks goes to Morakot for providing us a fantastic lunch. The food was fantastic. If you are ever in Racine, WI look up Sticky Rice on Main St. Well back to the grindstone, I wish I had a bit more time here. Also this new speaker is the real deal, very nice. I think Rick has a good thing going with this mid.
