Hi Danny (GR Research),
Brian (Niteshade Audio),
Ruben (Outofthewood)
and all Audio Circle members.

Many of you that have been following my topics for some time are aware of what projects I did in the past as well as what project I was planning to do in the future.

Well, a few weeks back I took a big decision,
I will postpone my Audio 13 project and
after my wife and I have finish building our
5 stories high mansion,
I will be heading back to my home country Canada.

After 16 years of frustrations and enriching experience in Vietnam, in 2012, I will be back in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, not for retirement, I am too young for that (64 years old in 2012) I will set up my Audio 13 dream business with a relative that wants to help me by investing in my business and also in a similar business to what I am doing now in Vietnam.
(Import of professional photographic business).

I will be in Canada just in time to see the blooming of the flowers in the month of May.

Before I starting my Audio 13 business I will have to take care of many things, since I have been gone for more than 16 years.

I am sure I will have the chance to post on Audio Circle some topics before I go back to my civilized country Canada and once in my beautiful Canada, I will continue posting on Audio Circle, since many of you like to read my posts and topics…

Well, that’s all for now, I will get back to the packing of my boxes and luggage, even if I will only be leaving in 9 months from now.

In the past 16 years in Vietnam, I have accumulated tons of all kind of stuff.

Until next time, have a nice day.

Is your wife going with you?

Is your wife going with you?

Hi jtwrace...
My wife won't be able to come with me right away, because even if we have been married for 16 years,
I have to get back to Canada before I can sponser her.

I might take up to one year after I fill in all the paper work, so that she can join me.

Well, I will be single for a full year. LOL !

She will be allowed with a visa to come to visit me for a few weeks and on her way to Canada, she will stop for a few weeks in Chicago to see her aunt.

That's a big change.  Best wishes. I'm sure it will be quite a journey.

Hi Bryan.
Returning home, will be more work, more difficult and more challanging, than coming to Vietnam 16 years ago.
Once back home, I will have to start from zero.
Job or business, appartment or condo, sleeping on the floor or new furniture, etc...
However, I will be home, it will be easier in a way, because it's my country and I know already how it works here and I speak the language, even, if there has been some changes since I left 16 years go.
(More immigrnats, especially arabs.)
Well, home sweet home or should I say :
Canada sweet Canada.
Have a nice day.

Guy 13.

Hi Devil Doc.
Montreal cannot win all the time,
sometimes they have to let the other clubs win...

Hi Neil.
I know that I am going back on the right side of the world where you don't have to run around dozens of stores to find what you want.
Home Depot, Wal Mart, Target, Best Buy and much, much more...
Thanks.

You're a brave man.  I respect a man who can pull up anchor and begin a new chapter.  Fair well.

Hi Jim.
Was I brave or crazy to leave the comfort and convenience of Canada 16 years ago and am I brave or crazy to go back to Canada and start again my life from zero or from scratch.
Crazy or brave or brave or crazy, it's my life and I don't regret what I did.

Note:
Why : Fair well ?
It's not like I am going on another planet.
You will hear from me again.

Hi Jim.
For some people that are not adventurous, it might look like an adventure, but for me it's simply life...
Without what I am living now, life would be boring.

The use of words here is kind of funny.

"Farewell" generally means "Goodbye, I probably won't see you in a while." This seems to be how Guy13 interpreted it.

"Fare well" means to have a safe journey. This seems to be what Jim meant.

"Fair well" is not a phrase since "fair" is an adjective. However, this is what was actually written.

Good luck in the move and transition.  I moved 170 miles towards the end of 1996 to my current location and it involved a temporary place and then my current place about 10 months and that was enough for me.  Can only imagine moving that kind of distance.
