One more. Sicking with the naming convention of one of your previous products you could call it :
Staccato
The definition has a nice correlation to the function of the device, sort of...:
"Staccato is a form of musical articulation, signifying an unconnected note, which is separated or detached from its neighbours by a silence."
"Staccato is the Italian word meaning "detached"."

My brain hurts from thinking up Italian names for some of the other stuff we have in mind. Lack of imagination shows on them. Actually, it is more from getting at most 4 hours sleep, per night.
But, I like someone is thinking on the right lines. Maybe we should hire you!
I have actually heard one of these.............on some USB-SPDIF thingie, that draws
no power on the USB line. Based on that, I would not think that word would describe it.
"OK, wiz-a-guy, who would you describe it?"A cure for digititis. It smooths off the top end. Very slight loss of detail. So, if you are in need of a "tone control", for your USB set-up, this may be the ticket.
I only mention that as one of the guys in our regular listening panels grumbles that digital needs tone controls. (I'm fixin' to help him, by doing something top-secret, to his DAC. He already has one of those previously mentioned USB-SPDIF thingies.) (But I will say it probably has something to do with the input stage having a pulse transformer that I would not stick in my ham radio rig.)
