Selling this because I just haven't been using it. This is the RWA-modded iMod with the Wolfson DAC. (A 60 MByte iPod photo model.) In the 4th gen mod, output is via the headphone jack. The internal volume control is removed to make room for the mods.
Sound quality is warm and impressively good. I get best sound simply running wav files... better than Apple Lossless to my ears.
Battery is in good shape.
I also have an iMod 5.5 (i.e., 5th generation). Its sound is brighter and more detailed, but not as warm. I don't have an opinion as to which is better. I'm keeping the 5.5 because the thumbwheel on it is not in the best condition.
$200 obo with shipping. Very nice case included.
I also have a nice Y-cable (stereo plug at one end, RCAs at the other end) available.
