Normal wear and tear is fine. All drivers must be working. Everything stock. No mods, please. Original box and manual a plus.

How about that, I have a really nice set of B&W 801 series II speakers I am willing to part with.

The are black, in excellent condition.

There is one "modification" we did ourselves.  This is our famous discovery about the interaction between the large inductor in the midrange section interacting with the large inductor in the bass section.  The fix is simple, move one of the inductors to eliminate the magnetic interaction.  Not a tweak, just good engineering.

Call me if you are interested.  651-330-9871.  Sorry no shipping cartons.

I might point out that we told B&W about the crossover fix we had done to the 801 Matrix 2 series, and they actually put the fix in production themselves in the next model of the 801, exactly as we had done.  Its really really not an audiophlake tweek.

Regards,

I have a pair of 801 Matrix 25th Anny Edition which is the last series 2 and Frank is right. We (me and the shop guy) verified with info. from Frank and B&W that the fix was applied to my edition from the factory the way Frank layed it out. You can see a photo of mine in my pictures.

any interest in 801 series 2 ? I am in Reno, we could meet 1/2 way.
I also have a pair of B&W MPA810 monoblock amplifiers. Have been in storage for a while, but would get them checked out if interested. Here is a link to a pair that is for sale (not mine) for more information.
