Curious if anyone here has experience with the Music Streamer II USB DAC? I was at a friends house over the weekend and a coworker of his raved about it. I had never heard of it before, so I got a bit curious and thought I'd ask here. Thanks.

Yup, had one for a month now and it works wonderfully...highly recommended.
I have several other posts in other threads if u search.

Playing Flacs from Winamp to the DAC..to preamp to amp to speakers.

I can not hear any real world differences between this an a cd in a really good cd player with a great dac..

This DAC is the cats meow for $149!!

i got the hrt II+ wow is all i can say. the sound just opens up details like you never heard before on a cd.
i think its got to be one of the best deals out there for the price. mine was $350.00
if this dac was $500 i think i would still buy it.

I just got mine last week.  I am thrilled so far. The best cd player I have had is an Onix and this thing spanks it... My wife is getting the Onix...

Slightly off topic, sorry, but I have the iStreamer from the same company. With my 120GB iPod full of uncompressed .aif files as the source, it's as good as most CD players I've heard, and a good deal more convenient. It's a silly good value for just under $200.
