That's a pretty neat old unit. Too bad it is incomplete.
Reminds me of an old Columbia 360 Portable record player that I'm in the middle of restoring for a friend.The tube amp uses 1 12AX7 and 2 50L6 tubes. Runs off of rectified AC. Not the safest thing for sure.
Problem is that after 60+ years it (and the ebay find in the previous post) needed a complete rebuild before it will ever play music again. Not one component in the amp was salvageable. Every resistor was out of tolerance, every capacitor was either dried out or non functional. The tube sockets disintegrated to dust. The only things that were reused were the transformer and chassis.
