yes me too...thanks.
afraid to push the on/off button though..
funny thing is that via a rather large detour, I'm back again to my original problem: the BDP1 not playing the Chandos USB sticks in the right order.....(see above, where the Mac finder does show it right). I believe to be rather certain now that when and where the original recording consisted of more than 1 cd, they are put into 1 folder in the Chandos USB. BDP1 plays them ordered numerical but doesn't see the separate cd's, and thus mixes them up altogether. Cd1 track 1, cd2 track 1, cd1 track2, cd2 track 2 ec etc. Most other machines and software programs read them in the correct order, as seen above.
I can make a correct playlist in the Max softwareinterface, but do not believe that would have to be done. In fact it feels rather clumsy and un-userfriendly. I just want to load a usb-stick, or folder on a HDD for that matter, and hit play. Just like in the old days with old fashion cd's....As Bryston says: we have to see the BDP1 as a modern-age cd player. Well, it should act as one!

Marius (downloading gigabytes of music right now...

)
ps James, how do I delete a single track out of a playlist again? You must have mentioned it somewhere, but I can't find it anymore. Keep having to delete the whole playlist....and start over again
Marius,
So glad you are up and running!
