Here is my room and some measurements.

before treatments it looks like this

and after treatments it looks like this

there is no resonaces and it has freq response in the bass region +/- 3dB from 20-100Hz.

Remember, I have done it myself

Please post your curves *without* 1/3 rd octave smoothing below 200 Hz.

Your room obviously measures nice, but I don't believe in 1/3rd octave smoothing below 200 hz when you want to concentrate on detail ,even though the ear does average things out in that region and has poorer resolution in the time domain.

The improvement in spectral decay is quite noticeable!

Provide some details on your room treatments, there is some serious diffusion going on there!

Nice speakers. Controlled directivity is key.

That is a nice looking room. I like that you have your turntable and equipment off to the side and away from the speakers while leaving space to the back wall.

Those look like JBLs. I forget the model numbers of that line. Which one is it and what about the subs.

Equipment list used with the JBLs?

What product do you have on the ceiling and walls.

Can you share cost of speakers and treatments?

How would you describe the sound of the JBLs as they have been of interest for me. Are they forward sounding with the horns and how do they image? I would not expect much in the imaging department with them being backed up to the wall, but thought I would ask anyway.

His system includes McIntosh and Crown amps with JBL speakers Cinema screen array 3731 with additional subs 4641. He also has PRX635 with PRX618S-XLF subs.

I would *not* assume anything like that to be honest. This room has been seriously treated and it is very obvious through the measurements. Since they are forward radiating monopoles with some CD performance enhancements, keeping the front wall mostly dead is a great idea. It looks like McTwins has added some diffusion to the front wall as well. To each his own. But I seriously bet he is getting awesome imaging, by making/ designing in those room treatments (just look at the enormous performance improvement in the spectral decay, forget about the frequency response curve which is only 1/2 the story). So it's not *necessarily* about how far you pull your speakers out. As to the sonics I'm sure the OP has his own thoughts. People should be spending a great majority of their budget in designing or purchasing room treatments and the measurements that McTwins proves this beyond a reasonable doubt.

These speakers application, according to spec sheet, is "for critical sound reproduction in small to medium cinemas and studio production and post production application."

That pretty much covers it all.

These speakers must be used with a DSP like dbx260 or dbx4800 and adjust accordingly to prosound and tuning, crossover and so on, and that's another story to learn how to approach this. If it is done in a wrong way it will sound bad.

These speakers has a great coverage and some times I forgett that I am listening to horn speakers. I like the dynamic and impact these speakers can produce and at the same time has all the advantages like a high end speakers have.

Mine is in bi-amp model but one can get in tri-amp model as well.

About the cost of the acoustics treatment it all depends how much you want to do, it is difficult for me to say how much it will cost. I have only bought the material and done it myself. To get the correct price for a specific room it is best to contact PAL or Matts Odenmalm SMT AB.

I'm just asking if you changed anything other than the room treatment between taking those two curves, e.g. spaeker, crossover, speaker position, mic position, eq, etc.
