James, looks like the new site will be offered in the 'piano black' finish?  :thumb:

But don't you have silver Bryston gear? I would think you'd prefer black :-)
I'm sure Bauhaus just can't sound right coming out of silver amps -- even if they are 28Bs :-) :-)

Greetings Ian  :D

Normally I have the lights out in my room so this is not an issue and besides, they match my Ankh collection perfectly - life just does not get any better.  :D :thumb:

Be well...

James,

I recommend you change out that 28B to 19" with handles.  I'm certain Laundrew will send you a pix of one of his.   Otherwise, looks great.

Hmm...I actually prefer the one without handles on. Simple, clean and sleek...that is personal preference but what make sense is to go with the volume of sales with handles vs. without.

I would like to see an example of the website of the 28's with handles, just to do a side by side comparison. Although I prefer handles, the proportions of the 28's without handles compared to the rest of website looks great - it seems to "fit" and does not overpower the webpage.

Be well...

The 28's without handles (regardless of the ones in the rear) is a recipe for disaster (either by dropping the amp or by twisting a muscle)...

The 28 looks very lonesome there on it's own - kind of single limbed.  I know it probably was done to do a close-up but perhaps you can show it's companion in the background with it's back facing forward - would make more sense since they would traditionally be paired up - yin to the yang etc.

The alternative is to show the 4B, as that is the bread & butter amp / top-seller and I believe the closest thing to a true "Heritage" amp.

Like it :thumb: - monoblocks in pairs (back to front) for your consideration.

James - will a link to the Bryston Limited Audio Circle be available on the homepage or at least accessible in a click or two from there?

1. A detailed explaination on the amp's gain selector--- I was sooo confused by my 14B's manual, 'bottom half ' of the volume knob? what's the bottom half... half of the max volume, or i draw a horizontal line across the knob so that's 1/4 the max volume.. :duh:

2. Some simple facts regarding the connections between amp's drive power (watts), current and the speaker's power handling, actual SPL. --- I know the answer is juse one google search away, but it's be very cconvenient if covered in FAQ section.

Sorry - another thought / suggestion:

1. In the Bryston Philosophy Statement - would recommend incorporating the evolution vs. revolution approach as well as the feature approach i.e. NO better / best.

2. It would be good to talk about the grass roots of the company - the history and heritage leading to where it is today as well as share a little about the key individuals in the company - the owners with a short bio on each.  You guys deserve the credit for what the company is today.

As somebody who used to run a full rig of Naim equipment (great stuff, BTW), the connection of the Naim website and forum was both effective and very enjoyable.  The larger the forum community, the more good humor and good advice.  I made several purchases over the years based on forum recommendations.
