The iTunes Remote App for iPhone and iPad control iTunes remotely.  If Pure Music is installed, then Pure Music + iTunes is remotely controlled via the Remote App.

It works.

Wilson,
I used the demo free version for 30 days and I couldn't get it to work very well.   It dropped songs constantly and would only play 1-3 songs from a playlist before it froze and required me to Force Quit.  Any thoughts?

Cool.   A few weeks ago I used a friends Ipad to control my mini, which already had PM on it.  When using the Ipad though, only Itunes was visible on the screen...which is why I posted.

Anyone know if there is a way to control PM through an Ipad?  EX:  Lets say I wanted to invert polarity or turn on the Less is More function - can this be done via Ipad?

The Remote App worked perfectly to select songs in Itunes.

Two things:
1) Pure Music uses iTunes as it's GUI, so using an iTunes remote like the great Apple Remote app works on an iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, etc.  And doing things like polarity inversion is simply to comment "invertpolarity" within iTunes comment section, on those songs you wish it done to.
2)  If, instead, you want to go away from iTunes and use the "less is more" GUI from PM (not sure why you'd do that...it's no more pure or cleaner than using iTunes GUI) then using any of the recommended VNC apps (I use LogMeIn Ignition) to emulate a screen share on your iPad...that works too.  However, it is robbing Peter to pay Paul cuz now instead of the miniscule overhead that the iTunes GUI has (remember, PM in normal mode ain't playing iTunes, just using it's GUI) now you are using a significant amount of overhead to do VNC/screen sharing!  Not my recommended approach.  But to do non-iTunes play stuff (play FLAC, doing tagging, etc) you may want to deal with VNC stuff.

I use LogMeIn Ignition to do remote administration, etc but I never use it to play Pure Music.

Wilson may have a better answer, but it sounds like a RAM issue. If you have hog mode, memory play, and/or gapless album enabled, you could have an issue. I think the app is supposed to need at least 2 GB of RAM. I run mine with 8 GB. With hog mode enabled, I try not to run any other applications.
