Soundlab A-1's with Kora Hermes dac, Glass Ware 100k stepped attenuator and Ultra 350 dd in my main system. I just built some DIY Elsinore mark 5's for my studio system (91db) and will be using a Ultra 70 when it gets finished, now using a Ultra 350 and they sound fantastic.

No. A friend of mine had this pair packed away in his basement for 25 years. There were piezo's replacing the blown tweeters

and they were not even the right size so the cabinet wasn't sealed. I found original tweeters on ebay and Mark got new caps and he did the work. Most of the info I found about the surrounds turned into debates of what to use or cautions on using the wrong chemical and then the toxicity of most of the chemicals. I don't know what we would have finally done but they work and sound fine. Got lucky I guess.

Infinity Intermezzo 4.1 driven by an up to date U70. Those little mods made a big difference. Last of the big time Infinities and they have 850 watt powered subs built in so the amp is only driving from 80 hz on up. No issues with volume or output.

A pair of KEF Reference Model 2s and Wharfedale Diamond 9.2s. The KEFs turned in to a "new" set of speakers after adding a full compliment of AVA electronics, just like Frank told me they would. No desire to change yet, although many of the photos of Salk speakers get me thinking about taking a drive to Mr. Salk's shop in MI some day.
