QuoteI had a Cary tube amp from the early 90's, did not like it one bit. I own AKSA amps now, and like 'em a lot. I'm still a tube fan. Right now I'm listening to a pair of vintage Dynaco Mk III amps with a Triode Electronics driver board. You can carry on all you like about their supposed flaws but that won't stop me from enjoying listening to them.JohnRNobody's trying to stop you enjoying those James Bongiorno designs John, the last tube audio he ever did as a member of Dynaco or otherwise.

As I thought, Bon Giorno had nothing at all to do with the design of the Mk III, which was first sold in 1957 I believe. Bon Giorno did not join Dynaco until 1972.http://www.tnt-audio.com/intervis/bongiorno_e.html"in 1972 was hired by David Hafler to replace himself at Dynaco as Chief engineer. There I designed the Stereo 400, and also made contributions to the AF6 am/fm tuner"JohnR
