Bryston amps - 110V to 240V conversion

Hi
Thinking of buying a 2nd hand Bryston amp from US, but I live in Australia where voltage is 240V.
How easy is it to do a conversion? Does it normally require a substantial replacement of parts or is it a flick of the switch?

I think most step-down/step-up transformers tend to strangle the life out of a system.
Mebbe i'll contact bryston support directly
